November 2022 President's Message

All of us at the Florida Watermelon Association want to thank everyone who attended the 2022 Florida Watermelon Convention. It was a great success and I hope to see everyone again in 2023.

I would like to thank all of our sponsors, load donors, and auction buyers for their support this year. We hope to have the hotel and dates set soon for next year.

I am excited for our upcoming promotional efforts this year with our 2023 Florida Watermelon Queen Alyssa Armentrout. I know she will do a great job as our ambassador. I also want to wish our Queen Coordinator Debra Harrison and our 2022 Florida Watermelon Queen Amber Boykin good luck at the National Convention. I know they both will do a great job.

We have some great marketing plans and research products in the works for this coming domestic season as we continue to support the Florida watermelon growers.
