Membership will continue to be an important part of our association. During our last membership meeting in St Pete, we discussed new ways to obtain and, most importantly, retain new members. This would involve more outreach at schools with ag-related degrees, as well as having a booth at various UF/IFAS events. We will have a new brochure completed this year which will explain the benefits of a FWA membership in a quick and organized fashion. We look to have these at all events we attend in order to increase grower membership and overall membership. With the passing of the new dues format and pricing for this year, we should have much clearing membership numbers by the 2020 convention.
