Cancer Prevention Program Collaboration

The UF Health Cancer Center and UF/Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) Extension collaborate to provide a cancer prevention program focused on increasing awareness of outdoor workers on sun exposure risk, signs of sun/heat-related illness, and includes education of skin cancer preventative measures and skin self-examinations. This program has a flexible delivery format, which can be presented on a farm site, in conjunction with other county wide trainings. Finally, the program is fully available in Spanish.
