Bethany Barfield
Miss Bethany Barfield was crowned as the 2020 Florida Watermelon Queen during the 52nd Annual Florida Watermelon Association Convention held Jan 16-18, 2020 at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort & Spa in Fort Myers, Florida. Bethany is 21 year old daughter of Dora Barfield. Bethany is currently attending Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida where she is majoring in Nursing.
Bethany enjoys running, cooking, traveling, spending time with her family and friends and volunteering in local community.
As Florida Watermelon Queen, Bethany will travel throughout the United States and Canada, serving as a spokesperson for the watermelon industry. Bethany will hold the state title for one year and in February 2021 will represent Florida for the title of the National Watermelon Queen being held that year in Las Vegas, Nevada.
